The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) organised a training workshop within the “Little Paramedic” initiative for children affiliated with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), as part of the Society’s programme to spread the culture of first aid among children.
The workshop included introducing the participating members to various topics related to first aid, such as the first aid kit, how to call for emergencies, and cardioversion resuscitation, in addition to practical training.
Fatima Abdul Rahman, Vice President of the First Aid Committee at the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, said that this training workshop reflects the Society’s keenness to intensify rehabilitation programs in various fields, including the field of first aid, which is essential for relief and humanitarian work in general.
Abdul Rahman pointed out that the development of the field of first aid in BRCS enabled them to implement this workshop very effectively and achieve the desired results, expressing thanks and appreciation to Crowne Plaza Hotel for hosting this event and providing all the necessary support for its success.
