The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) hosted a delegation from the Master Mind Center for Consulting and Skills Development, and members of the Bahrain Society for Women’s Development. The visit aimed to enhance health awareness and first‑aid capacities among youth and the wider community, reinforcing the BRCS mission to cultivate a culture of health and safety across Bahrain.
The program featured an interactive workshop in basic first aid, enabling participants to receive hands‑on training in managing common medical emergencies and boosting their readiness to offer immediate assistance when required. Attendees also benefited from a health‑awareness lecture, which emphasized the importance of preventive care and healthy habits, highlighting daily practices that support both individual and societal well‑being.
Mrs. Fatima Ahmed, Head of the BRCS First Aid Committee, praised the initiative, stating that the visit to the Master Mind Center for Consulting and Skills Development and the Bahrain Society for Women’s Development provides essential support in raising a generation that is knowledgeable and prepared to face health-related challenges, and emphasized that the Society is committed to equipping the community with vital knowledge and competencies.
Mrs. Ahmed added that BRCS continues to expand its educational outreach in first aid and public health, extending its training programs to reach a broader audience. These efforts align with the organization’s humanitarian mandate to protect lives and mitigate suffering.
