The Bahrain Red Crescent Society organized an intensive training workshop titled “Little Rescuer,” which took place over two days at the Society’s headquarters. The workshop targeted the age group of 11 to 17 years, aiming to instill basic first aid concepts and enhance health awareness and safety among the younger generations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.<\/p>\n

The training program included comprehensive key topics, covering the concepts and principles of first aid, with a focus on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for children, home safety, and the importance of seeking help in emergency situations. The trainers also provided practical training on how to manage fractures, wounds, and control bleeding.<\/p>\n

The workshop received significant and positive engagement from the participants, who displayed remarkable enthusiasm and a strong desire to grasp these vital skills. This was evident in their active participation in hands-on activities, their constructive questions, and their eagerness to apply what they learned under the guidance of the trainers.<\/p>\n
