{"id":2796,"date":"2021-01-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-03T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.rcsbahrain.org\/developing-red-crescent-programs-in-light-of-covid-19\/"},"modified":"2021-01-04T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-01-03T21:00:00","slug":"developing-red-crescent-programs-in-light-of-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rcsbahrain.org\/en\/developing-red-crescent-programs-in-light-of-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Developing Red Crescent programs in light of COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height: 19.5pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in 19.5pt 0in;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'robotoslab-light-webfont',serif;\">Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi, Bahrain Red Crescent Director-General\/Act General Secretary, affirmed the society\u2019s keenness to develop its programs and services to meet the emerging needs of those who deserve support and relief in light of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic on Bahrain and the world, pointing out that the next year\u2019s strategy of the Society will focus on programs that support needy families in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to providing special support for health efforts to prevent the pandemic.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 19.5pt; background: white; box-sizing: border-box; overflow-wrap: break-word; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0in 0in 19.5pt 0in;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'robotoslab-light-webfont',serif;\">This was discussed during his participation in a webinar organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, in addition to the participation of the head of the Federation\u2019s mission to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, Dr. Fawzi Amin, and the Head of Public Relations Committee of the Society, Mr. Ali Kadhem.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 19.5pt; background: white; box-sizing: border-box; overflow-wrap: break-word; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0in 0in 19.5pt 0in;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'robotoslab-light-webfont',serif;\">\u201cIt\u2019s very essential to boost the level of coordination between the various relief agencies around the world, and exchanging experiences between volunteers in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals of relief and humanitarian work and serving communities in the best possible way.
