The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) announced that it has begun taking all necessary preparations to distribute aid for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan to more than four thousand needy families in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to take all measures to ensure the smooth and easy flow of aid distribution, amid strict application of the precautionary measures followed in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Adel Aljar, Head of Social Services Committee, explained that the volunteers of the Society in charge of distributing this aid will be assigned to small teams that work at different times of the day, and take over scheduling the names of the beneficiary families and calling them to receive the aid from the Society’s headquarters in the diplomatic area, expressing his thanks to the volunteers of the Society and its members, especially in the Social Services Committee, for their tireless work to meet the needs of the esteemed beneficiaries.
“The aid that will be distributed before the coming month of Ramadan will include this year also 73 regions in the various governorates, cities, and villages of Bahrain, where certain days are allocated to each region to ensure that the distribution process proceeds smoothly. All committees of the Society work in an integrated manner on identifying and reaching the actual needy families, and meeting their requirements, taking advantage of the long experience of the Society with the requirements of needy families over more than forty years.” Mr. Aljar added
The Society called on companies and institutions operating in the country, as well as philanthropists from citizens and residents, to make their hoped-for donations for the success of the aid program this year, as they did in the past years.
