The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has assigned a fully equipped ambulance to accompany pilgrims from Bahrain, following a yearly tradition that has been ongoing for 19 consecutive years.
Mubarak Al-Hadi, the Secretary-General of the BRCS commended the instructions given by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors, to provide comprehensive ambulance services to Bahraini pilgrims.
He emphasized the BRCS commitment to utilize all its resources effectively in implementing these instructions.
Al Hadi emphasized the effective coordination between the BRCS and the Ministry of Health in delivering ambulance services to Bahraini pilgrims.
He expressed the society’s pride in being entrusted with this responsibility by the Ministry of Health, and mentioned that a trained team of volunteers from the Society, including paramedic Salman Issa and the driver Aqeel Sabt, will accompany the ambulance to serve Bahraini pilgrims during the current Hajj season.
He also highlighted the team’s readiness to handle various cases requiring different types of medical interventions.
He acknowledged the commendable efforts put forth by the Bahrain Hajj Mission and reiterated the Society’s unwavering commitment to cooperating with the Bahrain Medical Mission. This collaboration extends to the medical and ambulance personnel, as well as the necessary medical preparations for this year’s Hajj.
Regular coordination meetings have been held with the Hajj mission to ensure preparations are in place from both medical and administrative perspectives.
