The Bahrain Red Crescent Society is hosting the second Gulf Forum of the Gulf Red Crescent Bodies and Societies under the title “Human Giving” under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Murad, Vice President of the Society.
This forum will be held on the 14th and 15th of December, where the first day is devoted to presenting working papers on volunteer teams in crises and disasters, while the second day is devoted to the establishment of training and rehabilitation programs for volunteers in each Gulf body and association.
The working committees of the Society have prepared to receive the participants in the forum, in which a number of members and volunteers of the Gulf Red Crescent bodies and societies participate, along with local, regional and international experts in the field of relief and humanitarian work.
This forum represents an opportunity to highlight the progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of volunteer work, and to benefit from the experiences and expertise of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society.
It’s worth noting that at the conclusion of their fifteenth meeting, which was held at the Advisory Board of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Muscat, the heads of the Red Crescent bodies and societies in the Gulf Cooperation Council approved the strategic plan for the next five years for the Red Crescent bodies and societies, including eight axes centred on humanitarian and relief work And development at the regional and international levels, cooperation with relevant regional and international organisations, volunteer work, policies, legislation, laws and regulations, in addition to the development of human resources, sources of funding, support, information, research, studies, information and awareness.
