The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) began distributing holy Ramadan’s aid to more than 4,000 families over 73 cities and villages in the various regions of Bahrain. The distribution process continues over ten days, each day of which is allocated to several areas close to each other according to a specific timetable.
Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi, Bahrain Red Crescent General Secretary, said that the society has taken all precautionary measures to ensure the smooth and easy distribution of aid to the beneficiaries, amidst strict application of the precautionary measures followed in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. He explained that the volunteers of the Society who provide these assistances were distributed to small teams working at different times of the day.
He expressed his thanks to the volunteers and members of the Society, especially in the services committee for their tireless work to meet the needs of the needy families, and explained that all committees of the Society work in an integrated manner to identify and reach the actual needy families utilizing the long experience of the Society with the requirements of needy families over a range of more than 40 years.
The Bahrain Red Crescent Society called on companies and institutions operating in the country as well as philanthropists among citizens and residents to make their hoped-for donations for the success of the aid program this year, as they did in the past years.
