Eight volunteers from the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) took part in Lebanon “Youth and Health” workshop held in co-operation with the Lebanese Red Cross along with their counterparts from three Arab countries.
The two-day workshop focused on training volunteers on critical humanitarian soft skills and preparing them to face most urgent challenges in a contemporary conflict environment and network their knowledge to other aid workers.
Additionally, the workshop discussed different topics on good networking skills, ability to plan well, team working skills, key skills for volunteers so they can better navigate humanitarian situation, as well as medical skills to raise medical awareness across youth to enhance their awareness of health risks such as drugs or sexual diseases.
